Quad's normally take a tad more battery juice to run itself but I have yet to test the life of an Electrum, will most definitely do when I get the Remnant.
While bright, the Electrum quad-crees do suffer from the base flare that quads are known for, so VV's LED lens are more focused and even. Additionally whatever speaker VV uses I noticed the saber was louder than the Torrent as well.įor LED set up, Electrum uses RBGW quad-crees and VV uses Tri-Crees of your selected colors. When it comes to sizing, comparing an Electrum Torrent to any VV combat class, VV sabers are thinner. Hilt length and design also are a question of your taste. Like one said, both companies utilize a chassis to hold their electronics and are warranted for dueling so that is a plus. I have used a VV Ardent, VV Hero, multiple USs, a couple SFs, and handled an Electrum Torrent for a tad and here is my take on it. That saber hits all the right points for me hehe. It currently works with the PC RICE program but will be releasing for Android shortly. We recently launched bluetooth with our VDRs and will be porting it to the rest of the line soon.
